Registered Nurse - Acute Care Unit
Location: Brevard, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in the Acute Care Unit, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across various levels of acuity, from medical/surgical to ICU.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and manage patient care.
- Perform standard procedures such as IV starts, EKG monitoring, and wound care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification completed by the end of orientation.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred, especially in ICU or Med-Surg.
