Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Vascular Interventional Radiology position in Urbana, IL, requiring an active IL RN license, Epic experience, and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Vascular Interventional Radiology (IR) unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 36 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday coverage required via call rotation only
• No floating requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Experience with supplies and equipment used in IR procedures

Additional Information

• Administers medications and manages patient care during moderate sedation procedures
• Monitors hemodynamics and provides procedural documentation throughout IR cases
• Completes patient assessments, develops and modifies individualized plans of care, and implements nursing interventions
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the health system
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system should be aware of the 1-year continuous assignment policy
