Warehouse Specialist - 1st Shift

Warehouse SpecialistWarehouse Specialist will oversee activities within inventory warehouse organization related to ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies, and products. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that inventory records are accurate at all times by performing daily or weekly counts of all products in inventory. Inventory specialist role requires exceptional organizational skillset along with ability to work cross-functionally in all areas of inventory, supply chain and operations.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupport and complete timely Work order management in SAP with operation confirmation and coordinate with shipping/logisticsReview COGI and Backflush errors and work with inventory team for problem solving and corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracyReview open TO confirmations and work with inventory team for corrective actionsReview LL01 Monitor and work with team for problem solving and corrective actionsImplement and maintain Cycle Counting programMMRD (New Parts) Material MaintenanceImprove and Maintain Material Master Accuracy for inventory dataMTD Submittal and follow upWork with inventory team to Minimize Dummy location put-awaySupport/Lead Physical InventoryUpdate Standard Inventory Operating ProceduresIdentify improvement opportunities and implement with inventory teamParticipate in Lean/Kaizen events as requiredSAP Training for new employeesSupport Inventory operations as neededSupport inventory team for any troubleshooting for SAP issuesOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business or a comparable discipline and a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience in a warehouse/inventory environment (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Inventory/warehousing)Desired CharacteristicsExpert level knowledge of SAP with minimum 5 years of experienceMath proficiencyFamiliarity with ERP and data entry systemsAbility to perform moderate to heavy liftingExcellent organizational skillsGreat written and verbal communicationMaterial Operations Specialist should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team.
