About the Role: As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergency situations, and collaborating with other departments to maintain a smooth operations. Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and furniture
- Respond to emergency situations, such as electrical outages, water leaks, and environmental hazards
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and dietary, to ensure a smooth operations
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent problems from arising
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Participate in training and professional development to improve troubleshooting and repair skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
