Travel/Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Travel/local licensed practical nurse (LPN) for a 13-week assignment in or near Hendricks, Minnesota. Provide bedside care, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality long-term care. Impact patients' health and well-being while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside care and administer medications to residents in accordance with state and facility regulations.
- Assess residents' health conditions and report significant changes to the supervising healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatments, and observations in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards to promote a safe environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensed practical nurse (LPN) license in the state of Minnesota
- CPR, IV, and basic life support (BLS) certifications
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care or similar settings
- Ability to work evening shifts, strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, adaptability, and attention to detail
