Role Description The Staff Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Middletown, NJ. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address musculoskeletal and rehabilitation needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, documenting treatment progress, coordinating care with referring providers, and educating patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention. The Staff Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with physical therapist assistants and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The role also involves participating in clinical case discussions, maintaining regulatory and documentation standards, and engaging in ongoing professional development activities. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans. Demonstrated skills in Medicine and Patient Care, including safe, evidence-based clinical decision-making. Experience or interest in Home Care and continuity of care, including patient education on home exercise and self-management. Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) in good standing. Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative, team-based care. Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment and manage a varied caseload, including orthopedic and post-surgical patients.
