Responsibilities Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Provide year‑end tax planning for individuals and corporations; research and provide solutions for complex tax issues. Maintain knowledge of updates in tax law and multi‑state compliance. Supervise staff on engagement deliverables including financial statements, work papers, and tax returns; mentor, coach, and train staff. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, communicate solution options, and identify opportunities for growth. Assist in business development, client relationship management, and strategic development of the department. Qualifications 4–10 years of technical tax experience in public accounting or related field. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field. Active CPA or EA license, or currently in process. Strong communication, leadership, supervisory, operational, and project management skills. Technical skills: preparing and reviewing financial statements; year‑end tax planning; retirement planning insights; multi‑state compliance. Experience with tax software: UltraTax, Thomson Reuters suite, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Prior experience meeting clients, working independently, and thinking creatively in planning. Additional Information Financial Statement & General Ledger experience required.
