Job Description Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Setting: Acute Care (Inpatient) Location: HealthWorks / MonHealth – Morgantown, WV Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift with Weekend & Holiday Rotations HealthWorks, in partnership with MonHealth, is seeking a full‑time, West Virginia‑licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient acute care team at our 188‑bed hospital in Morgantown, WV. Immediate hire available. Previous acute care experience is preferred, but new graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply. You can start on a temporary WV PTA license. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, collaborative, multidisciplinary team and work with adult and geriatric populations in a fast‑paced acute care environment. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
