Medical Assistant – OBGYNScheduleShift: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 06:00–18:00. Weekends: Not required.Assignment DetailsFloating to other sites may be required.RequirementsMinimum 2 years in an outpatient clinic setting.Minimum 1 year in OBGYN clinic experience.Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.High School diploma or GED.BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only).Proficiency in venipuncture/blood draw required.2 supervisor references from within the past year required at time of submission.Experience with charting in Epic.Core clinical skills: blood and specimen collection, rooming patients, administering injections and immunizations, handling routine clinic tasks.OBGYN procedures experience required: PAP, colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, EMB, IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon, NST.ResponsibilitiesRoom patients and complete necessary vital sign checks and medical history documentation.Administer medications and injections as prescribed.Assist healthcare providers with patient procedures and exams.Participate in quality assurance processes and staff meetings.Triage and follow-up on patient calls and correspondence.Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient care.Compliance / NotesNo COVID-19 vaccine required; flu vaccine status unknown.
