Maintenance Mechanic

Overview Maintenance Mechanic needed in Fond du Lac, WI! 1st Shift! Responsibilities Maintain and service shop equipment, with some vehicle maintenance as needed. General welding and fabrication duties. Perform basic electrical repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles. Perform oil changes on company trucks and vans, change flat tires, and handle DOT requirements for company vehicles. Maintain a few forklifts including fluid changes, tire changes, and other preventative maintenance tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least three years of previous equipment maintenance experience including machinery and vehicle repair. Welding/fabrication experience strongly preferred. General electrical experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a good record. This Maintenance Mechanic opening is a permanent, contract to hire role on 1st shift. Hours are 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday but some flexibility available. Wages are $28-$32/hr, based on experience. Our client has great tenure and hoping to find the right long-term fit.
