Senior Estimator | Heavy Civil Infrastructure Superior, Arizona Pay: $140,000 - $150,000 per year What You’ll Do Lead estimating efforts for large‑scale Heavy Civil construction projects including transportation, earthwork, underground utilities, paving, structures, and public works projects Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracted work Develop bid strategies and identify project risks and opportunities Coordinate with operations, field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners throughout the estimating process Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering efforts Prepare and review proposals, schedules, and supporting bid documentation Support project turnover and collaborate with operations teams during project startup Mentor and develop junior estimators and estimating staff What You Bring 10+ years of Heavy Civil construction experience with a strong background in excavation, underground utilities, structures, paving, transportation, or public works projects Experience with ADOT projects is preferred but not required Proficiency with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Bid2Win, Hard Dollar, AGTEK, Bluebeam, and/or AutoCAD Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required Negotiated project experience and technical writing skills are a plus Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously Employee Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 DOE Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – Become an employee‑owner and build long‑term wealth alongside the company’s continued growth Annual Bonus Program Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits 401(k) Company Vehicle Generous Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Peterson Consulting
