Details Acute care hospital setting with 200 staffed beds Emergency Department unit Patient ratio of 1:4 Variable shift start times with 12-hour night shifts (1500 or 1900 start) Required to work every other weekend No on-call responsibilities No floating required between units Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required Neurological skills and ICP monitoring experience preferred Triage skills required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Additional Information Provide emergency department nursing care including triage and patient monitoring Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Scrub color requirement: solid royal blue for RNs Free parking available on-site First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility All RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission American Traveler Job ID P-771553.
