The Opportunity:

IBRI is seeking a student interested in grants, nonprofit funding, philanthropy, research administration, or public health. The intern will help support grant proposals, funder research, reporting, and documentation.

Program Dates: May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027

Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted through November 30, 2026. For priority consideration, apply by October 15, 2026.

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Stipend: This internship includes a stipend of $9,650 for the full program, disbursed in bi-weekly installments on or before the 7th and 22nd of each month

Responsibilities:

• Research grant opportunities, foundations, and funding priorities.
• Help organize proposal materials, timelines, and required attachments.
• Support grant reporting by gathering updates and documentation.
• Maintain grant calendars, files, and funder information.
• Draft short summaries, updates, and stewardship materials.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in nonprofit management, public policy, business, communications, life sciences, public health, or a related field.
• Interest in grants, sponsored programs, nonprofit funding, research administration, or philanthropy.
• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to track deadlines and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to the full duration of the internship.
