Key responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist include:

• Provide respiratory therapy services according to physician orders
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures
• Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory care equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist include:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Georgia RRT license
• RRT Certification (NBRC)
