Summary

Sitestream, a Polaris Software company in Beverly, MA, is seeking detail-oriented and motivated team member as a Operations Analyst. The role 

Sitestream delivers automated traffic enforcement programs in the US. This role turns operational, payment, and cost data into practical decisions that improve the gross margin earned from each captured citation. You will understand why a program, camera, or stage of the citation journey is performing differently from expectation, working with the relevant teams across both the UK and the US to resolve it, and measuring the result. The role sits in the Operations function and works closely with Finance, Product, and Technology as key stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

· Track performance from camera capture through review, rejection, notice production, payment and cash settlement. 

· Interrogate and model cost per offence type, camera performance, staff efficiency and payment trends

· Use automated daily and weekly dashboards to spot exceptions, then investigate the causes: for example, lower camera capture, rising rejection rates, weak collections, unusual cash sweeps, call volume or processing bottlenecks. 

· Bring together data from multiple internal and external data sources which could include areas from multiple data sources. Challenge definitions and data quality, so teams work from a consistent picture. 

· Partner with operational owners to act on findings. Explain the issue, its likely commercial impact, the decision required, and the result after the change. Escalate camera, processing, customer service and finance issues to the appropriate owner. 

· Analyze the economics and effectiveness of processing, customer service, printing and postage, and cloud usage. Identify opportunities to improve service and lower the cost to serve without undermining valid citations or collections. 

· Provide accurate operational drivers and notice production data to Finance for forecasting, program economics, accruals and prepayments. Help investigate differences between operational activity, payments, and financial results. 

· Develop trend and forward-looking analyses that establish expected performance and flag deviations early. Design focused tests with operational teams, quantify the impact, and help successful changes become routine. 

· Work with Product and Technology to define useful measures, alerts, and dashboard requirements. The Technology team will build and maintain data pipelines; you will interrogate the data and turn it into actions. 

We are looking for someone who has:

· Experience analyzing operational or commercial performance and showing how your work led to a measurable improvement in efficiency, revenue, customer outcomes or margin. 

· Very strong analytical skills: able to explore and combine data, test explanations and communicate findings clearly. Confidence with spreadsheets and modern BI tools is essential; familiarity with Databricks or SQL is useful. 

· Commercial judgement and curiosity about how a process works end to end, including its contracts, costs, service levels and financial drivers. 

· The ability to work credibly with front line managers, Finance, Product and Technology, ask good questions, and turn analysis into specific actions. 

Experience in operations analytics, commercial analysis, FP&A, or continuous improvement would b desirable. Lean or Six Sigma exposure is helpful. A professional accounting qualification or data engineering background is not required but may lend itself to the right skillset.

What success looks like 

Operational leaders have timely, trusted measures and know which exceptions need attention. Problems are investigated and owned quickly. The team can explain changes in citation yield, payment conversion, and cost to serve, and can show the financial impact of actions taken. Finance receives reliable operational inputs for its forecasts and month-end work.
