Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we’re happy to support your development in:CPA is highly desiredAdvanced degree is preferredAn ideal candidate would have some familiarity with automation platforms such as Alteryx, or have a desire to learn about such tools if not currently using them.Impact You'll Make Assist with quarterly ASC 740 accounting for income tax requests such as the preparation and review of book vs. tax computations, the effective tax rate, expense tie out, deferred rollforward, journal entries, FIN48 uncertain income tax positions, stock based compensation, and documenting Section 404 Sarbanes Oxley processes, etc.Research complex tax issues and monitor changes in tax legislation to advise management on the impact on business operations.Work with the company's third-party service firm on various tax compliance workstreams, including but not limited to review of the company's annual consolidated Form 1120 income tax return and supporting calculationsSupport complex tax calculation such as tax depreciation and amortization calculations, stock based compensation, the federal R&D tax credit calculation and Section 174 cost analysis, Section 163(j) interest expense calculations, etc.Assist with tax forecasting, planning and special projects, including but not limited to quarterly tax payments, tax savings opportunities, adjusted earnings calculations, government tax audits, M&A tax impacts, process improvement initiatives, tax software implementation projects, Canada tax compliance, etc.Supervise, train, and mentor tax associates based in the US and in India
