Registered Nurse (RN)The unit is composed of a 300 unit with 14 beds and a main unit featuring 44 beds. The division allows for a diverse patient population, focusing on:SurgicalOrthopedicMedicalCardiac care in the main unitPatient Care ResponsibilitiesRegistered Nurses will provide care to a variety of patients, including but not limited to:Post-catheterizationPost-pacemakerPost-PCIDay 1 TAVRDay 1 CABGPatients with sepsisRespiratory distress casesQualificationsRequired certifications include:ACLSBLSNIHSSA BSN is not required for this position.Work EnvironmentThe Registered Nurse will work a 12-hour shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, with a weekend requirement of every other week, totaling four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule. Holiday shifts will be incorporated into the permanent staff rotation.Staffing and SupportNurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.One Nurse Aide is available on the night shift, one on mid-shift, and 3-4 on the day shift.The unit has a Monitor Tech and 24/7 Respiratory Therapy support.Pharmacy support is available 24/7, with access to Marian after 10 PM.No IV team is available.Charting and CommunicationThe facility uses the Cerner EMR system for documentation.
