We are an established and growing wholesale flooring distributor with over 50 years in the industry. As we expand our product lines and marketing, we are looking to bring on a strong hands-on senior accountant to elevate our financial discipline, reporting, and controls. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in retail/wholesale distribution, understands inventory-driven business, and is comfortable working directly with ownership.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and budget processes
• Oversee inventory accounting and related cost analysis
• Implement and maintain internal controls
• Perform account reconciliation and cash flow management
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance
• Collaborate directly with ownership on financial matters

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Expertise in inventory accounting and ERP systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
