Your day-to-day will include:Report to our warehouse location each morning for shift loadout and package preparationAssist the delivery driver with loading and unloading oversized and extra-large packages from a DOT-regulated delivery vehicle (16–26 ft.)Follow your navigated delivery route, ensuring all packages are delivered accurately and on scheduleLoad and unload the delivery vehicle with care, following proper lifting and safety techniquesPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections alongside the driverCommunicate with dispatch to provide real-time delivery status updatesInteract with customers and the public in a professional, courteous manner — representing Fair Winds Logistics with prideSupport the driver in maintaining the vehicle and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficientlyFollow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on the road and at the warehouseEnd each shift back at the warehouse for post-route check-in and vehicle returnDelivery Driver Helper Requirements – Non CDLWe are looking for dependable team players who are ready to work hard and grow with us. Requirements for this Non CDL Delivery Driver Helper role include:Must be at least 21 years of age (required per DOT regulations for this vehicle class)Must pass a 5-panel drug screen; random testing also requiredStrong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitudeAbility to work well within a team and follow directionsStrong communication skills and a customer-first mindsetAbility to operate a smartphone and GPS navigationPrevious experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus — but not requiredPhysically able to:Lift up to 70 lbs. independently, or up to 300 lbs. with team lift assistanceClimb multiple flights of stairs while handling large packagesWalk up to 6 miles per dayEnglish proficiency requiredReady to Join the Fair Winds Team?Do not wait — positions fill fast.
