Job Description
- Assist clients in understanding and complying with U.S. and international trade regulations.
- Provide counsel on export controls, sanctions, and customs regulations.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, reports, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with clients on trade compliance programs and policies.
- Support investigations and audits related to trade compliance matters.
- Advise on trade-related litigation and enforcement actions.
- Stay updated on changes in global trade laws and regulations.
- Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality legal services.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in the District of Columbia or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to client service and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
