Location: Colorado Springs, CO (On Site 100%) 80912

Clearance: Must have a current and active Top Secret clearance

Compensation: 120-170K (depends on education, years of experience, and overall skill set)

Relocation: Candidates willing to relocate themselves within 2-4 weeks from offer will be considered

Position Responsibilities
s a DevOPS Cloud engineer, you will be responsible for:

Designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform.
Developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
Collaborating with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell .
Testing and validating automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects.
Tracking the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.
Must be a detail-oriented individual that is able to track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's in IT related field, plus 5 years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
An current and active TOP SECRET clearance.
Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix.
Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration .
Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications / Desired Skills

Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible.
Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform.
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Scrum Master experience is a plus.
