Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients, supporting their recovery and family needs.Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)Weekends: Every Other Weekend RequiredProvide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition.Administer breathing treatments and chest tube care.Manage ventilators, including CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, and oscillators.Oversee procedure sedation and rapid sequence intubation (RSI) drugs.Conduct trach care and manage blood/blood product administration.Perform CVP monitoring and obtain 12-lead EKGs.Care for drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and central lines.Implement wound care, including the use of wound vacs.Participate in floating to the NICU or units within skill set as needed.Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, specifically in pediatrics.Charge nurse experience preferred.First-time travelers accepted with equivalent experience.Certifications: BLS and PALS are required. NRP and CRRT are preferred.
