Job Description

We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to join our family owned business! We are hiring to keep up with our growing customer base. We are a TEAM and do things right! Plus have fun doing it is very important to us! Mike's Auto Service is an auto repair shop located in beautiful downtown Rockford. With a convenient location and an established customer base Mike's is a great place to work! Our shop is owned by a mechanic who has over 30 years of experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Because the shop is owned by a mechanic the tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, alignment machine, etc are all top notch. The fact that the business is family-owned means that employees are valued and treated with respect. We are a fast-paced shop that likes to get cars in and out and have fun while doing it. Accepting applications from A, B, and C technicians and will help train and teach you to move up!

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Inspect and test customer's vehicles for necessary repairs

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
