Quality Engineer

Position Overview Looking for a motivated professional to join our growing, dynamic company! Flexible daily/weekly hours to accommodate personal life. Please fill out this survey as part of the application process. Position will assist multiple areas of the company directly supporting the manufacturing team and president. Core responsibilities will be centered around: Develop inspection processes Create balloon drawings Create In-process and FAIR documentation Assign inspection methods Verify gages assigned to part inspection are available for use Obtain any that are not available Maintain gage calibration program and processes Calibrate gages in house Schedule third party calibrations Perform FAIR inspections Help with In-Process inspections, when needed CMM programming (and part inspection) Maintain certifications ISO 9001:2015 Audits Internal and External Management Review QMS maintenance Document Control Maintain documentation for all processes Maintain conformity to CMRT, REACH, PROP 65, RoHS and TSCA Lead scrap reporting and reduction initiative Monitor and report KPIs Provide customers with RMAs (as needed) Assign a team, perform and document Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Action activities Create Quality Alerts to document and internally communicate issues Hold team accountable to timelines and actions assigned Provide updates to customers on rework status Employee quality training Process, updates, gaging techniques Lead Safety program Lead Continuous Improvement program We are a small company that offers room for growth, and the opportunity to make a real impact, but candidates must be comfortable wearing many hats as well as be prepared to react/respond to changing priorities.
