Job Description:

This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in the Float Pool covering MedSurg Telemetry and PCU units, caring for a variety of patients, including geriatric and post-procedural patients. The role involves managing telemetry equipment and interpreting strips, with shifts scheduled from 7-7 AM/PM and flexibility required for schedule changes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in MedSurg Tele and PCU units.
• Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data.
• Manage titratable drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient assignments and care planning.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license and authorization to work in the state of Arizona.
• ACLS and BLS Certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a PCU setting required.
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam as part of the hiring process.
• Comfortable managing a variety of titratable drips.
