Basalite Building Products is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to help keep our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in industrial maintenance, welding, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems .

What You’ll Do

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems .
Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment repairs .
Diagnose equipment issues and replace or repair components.
Read basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Operate welders, grinders, drill presses, plasma cutters, forklifts, and other shop equipment.
Work with production teams to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating safely.

What You’ll Need

High school diploma or equivalent.
Industrial machinery maintenance and welding experience required.
4 years of welding and maintenance experience preferred.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic industrial electrical knowledge.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Forklift/mobile equipment experience preferred.
Dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to assist with after-hours emergency repairs when needed.
