Tampa, FL, United States Be the First to Apply Job Description SUMMARY Ajax Building Company, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a proven track record delivering healthcare construction projects in active hospital and clinical environments. This role requires a hands‑on field leader who understands the complexities of occupied healthcare facilities, including infection prevention, life safety, phased construction, and maintaining uninterrupted patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead all field operations for healthcare construction projects, including renovations, additions, and new construction within active hospital and medical campus environments. Plan, organize, and supervise daily construction activities, coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, logistics, and sequencing while minimizing disruption to hospital operations. Manage craft employees, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents. Coordinate construction activities with hospital representatives, clinical staff, facility management, inspectors, and trade partners to maintain uninterrupted patient care and operational continuity. Implement and enforce Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and other healthcare-specific safety and environmental requirements.
