Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.Salary & Benefits InformationIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.What You'll Do:Operate and maintain drill rigs, associated vehicles, and equipmentPerform geotechnical and environmental drillingPerform various drilling activities including soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, classification, in-situ testing, and monitoring well installationPrepare necessary logs/records and file reportsControl safety procedures on siteMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:Past drilling experience is strongly preferred but not required - candidates with equipment operation experience will be consideredHave a mechanical background and aptitude, with skills in operating and maintaining machineryMust commit to working safely and ensuring the safety of co-workersMust be at least 18 years oldMust be compatible and able to communicate with other people in a small team environmentMust be comfortable working outdoorsBe able to work 12 - hour shifts (day or night) in various climatic conditions for extended periods of timeValid Driver's License and reliable driving recordAbility to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistanceAbility to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in soundAbility to kneel and squat occasionallyAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeAbility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)Ability to climb occasionallyBe physically fit and able to pass a fit for duty testPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:Commercial Driver's License (CDL)H.S.
