PHYSICAL THERAPIST Location: Downingtown, PA Timeframe: 26-27 School Year Snapshot: Austill's is seeking a Physical Therapist or experienced Physical Therapist Assistant with indirect license to work 2 days per week with school age children in Downingtown, PA. Additional opportunities to work with preschool or school age children are available in surrounding communities, if a greater workload is desired. Incentives Available! Peer mentorship and clinical manager support available. Job Summary: A Physical Therapist (PT) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving student mobility, physical function, and participation in the educational environment through direct therapy and collaboration with school teams. Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services to assigned students (PreK–12) Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Complete required documentation , including: Progress notes Data collection IEP updates and annual reviews Participate in IEP meetings as needed Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable) Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for working with children Benefits: Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours Continuing education opportunities Clinical support and mentorship Streamlined documentation systems Leadership and advancement opportunities About Austill's Educational Therapy Services: Austill's has provided school-based therapy services for over 40 years throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.
