General Machinist

In this role, you'll serve as a versatile machining professional, supporting multiple manufacturing departments based on business needs. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of machining operations, including CNC machining, manual lathes, grinding, milling, drilling, and other precision manufacturing processes. Responsibilities As a General Machinist, you will: Operate and maintain a variety of machining equipment including: CNC machines Manual lathes Milling machines Surface and cylindrical grinders Drill presses Saws Other precision manufacturing equipment Support multiple manufacturing departments based on production priorities. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Set up machines and equipment to produce precision components to specification. Monitor machining operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality. Inspect completed parts using measuring equipment and quality standards. Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with additional manufacturing tasks as business needs require. Machinist apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on machining experience. Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
