Internal Medicine physician employment in New York :

A healthcare network in New York City is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician in Brooklyn to provide comprehensive adult primary care in a fast-paced clinic setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 5pm (with one day extending to 8pm and one day ending at 4:30pm)
• Setting: Outpatient clinic

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate therapies
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
• Provide preventive care, screenings, patient education, and care coordination

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current unrestricted New York State medical license
• Active New York State DEA registration
• Active Medicaid enrollment
• BLS certification
• Prior experience using EPIC
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Ability to complete charting and clinical documentation by the end of each workday

Desired Skills:

• Primary Care experience
• Experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Experience managing high patient volumes while maintaining quality care
• Comfort working with other EMR systems

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
