Registered Nurse Labor and DeliveryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This position will be for 13 weeks on the night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Nurses will provide care to neonates, adolescents, and adults. The role requires managing labor and delivery patients, including triage and monitoring fetal health. Candidates must have experience in labor and delivery, with proficiency in external fetal heart monitoring and CPR. Nurses should be capable of circulating for C-sections and supporting postpartum recovery. The role involves performing sterile vaginal exams and managing various high-risk obstetrical conditions. Applicants are required to have strong clinical skills, including IV management and medication administration. Essential tasks include patient education, newborn assessments, and discharge instructions. Candidates should be familiar with protocols for various complications during labor and delivery. A focus on patient safety and quality care is critical in this role.
