High acuity step down unit Special Procedures/Unit Details : HARDSTOP - need travelers who have proficient exp with the following: Titration of vasopressors (Levophed, Nicardipine, etc), sedation medication, art lines, cardiac arrhythmias, chest tubes, trach vented patients Typically we have 1-2 RTs that are assigned to SDU each shift, depending on census. RT is responsible for vents, but RN needs to know how to troubleshoot alarms. The special procedures and equipment are non-negotiable, as this is the level of care of the floor. Special Equipment : HARDSTOP - Bipap, Opti flow, art line The special procedures and equipment are non-negotiable, as this is the level of care of the floor. #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO: Max of 7 days of RTO (7+ days requires manager approval, along with any holiday RTO). ALL RTO MUST BE FINALIZED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION No new RTO after submission. NO ADDITIONAL RTO OR SCHEDULE REQUESTS CAN BE REQUESTED POST SUBMISSION, POST OFFER OR POST START/ONSITE No RTO allowed the first week of an assignment. License Information: MO: Submit without license OK; requires MO or compact (no issuance if tied to another compact state). IL: License in hand required at time of submittal. Compact: Must match permanent residence otherwise submit for update + confirm ETA. Radius/Local Rules: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius. No local travelers allowed, except for Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants.
