Retail Assistant Manager

Position Overview In this role, you will assist the General Manager in leading the retail team and overseeing day‑to‑day operations. The ideal candidate sets a good example, keeps coworkers motivated, and fosters a culture of teamwork and open communication. Full Time role at $26. Lead and inspire team members to grow and evolve personally and professionally. Build an exceptional team that upholds the company’s mission, vision, and goals for employees and customers. Set an example of professionalism, integrity, and dedication for the entire team. Execute daily operations with meticulous attention to detail. Ensure every customer interaction is exceptional in service and product knowledge, enhancing overall satisfaction. Collaborate with the General Manager to train and mentor staff, fostering a high‑performing team culture that thrives on adaptability. Implement rigorous inventory control practices to minimize shrinkage. Oversee strict cash handling procedures, manage registers, reconcile daily transactions, and ensure accuracy and security. Collaborate with management to set and exceed sales targets, analyze performance metrics, and implement growth strategies. Drive sales by setting challenging targets, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to achieve and surpass goals. Uphold the highest standards of compliance with local and state regulations, ensuring ethical and legal operations. Mediate and resolve customer or employee concerns with professionalism, defusing challenging situations. Comply with all HR policies and the employee handbook; maintain detailed documentation of HR processes. Regularly assess floor leads and offer constructive feedback for professional development. Partner with the General Manager to communicate and delegate goals, tasks, and responsibilities to the team for smooth operation. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age. Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience. 2–3 years in retail or hospitality management. Open availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Physical Demands Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Schedule In office/on‑site up to 40 hours per week; overtime as needed. Mandatory district meetings: 1.5 hours each Monday or Tuesday. Mandatory store meetings: up to 1.5 hours each Tuesday or Wednesday.
