We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Cook to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking food on the grill, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items on the grill according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the grill, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and consistency.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
