Production Supervisor

Location 1900 Highway 71,Spirit Lake, IA, 51360,United States Employee Type Exempt Required Degree 4 Year Degree Looking for a Supervisor to join our dynamic team here in Spirit Lake, IA supporting the build of Indian Motorcycles. We have an outstanding culture and are looking to find the right person to complement our high-performing team. Ideal candidate will be a skillful leader with proven ability to drive change and sustain results in the manufacturing setting – focusing on SQDC, driving our strong culture forward and seeking continuous improvement across the team you will lead. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise staff and partner with cross functional team - partnering to ensure successful employee onboarding and training, monitoring staffing requirements (overall headcount, employee vacations and coverage), facilitating work assignments/rotations, delivering timely corrective actions, and driving overall team dynamic Build culture to be employer of choice in the region through employee recognition, making all feel part of the team, and driving consistency of response Daily communication and coordination with team, other supervisors, and other departments to support overall site operations Model lean principles and continuous improvement in daily operations Align team and production schedule to attain SQDC deliverables Communicate to all levels of the organization regarding present status, upcoming needs, and future projects driving change to ensure awareness Other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge, and Education Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required Two or more years of operations supervision experience preferred Demonstrated leadership, influence, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements in a team environment Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects or tasks simultaneously High level of personal integrity and excellent organization skills Indian Motorcycle, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will make all employment-related decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, status with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
