Senior Automated Underwriting Analyst

Leading the design and implementation of underwriting rules, the full-time Senior Automated Underwriting Analyst will manage projects, develop and update underwriting rules, and collaborate with various departments and external partners to ensure operational efficiency and compliance in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Develop, update, and manage underwriting rules within underwriting platforms to support efficiency and scalability initiatives Lead solution design efforts by identifying gaps and refining requirements in collaboration with vendors and internal teams Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing of underwriting rules and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed Required qualifications College degree or equivalent industry-related work experience Rules writing experience is required Life underwriting experience is preferred Designation or progress toward completion of FALU is required Strong analytical skills in assessing medical evidence and mortality data
