Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
• Active state licensure appropriate for school-based speech therapy
• Prior experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, especially preschool and secondary grade levels (grades 6-12)
• Familiarity with school-based IEP processes and special education documentation
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct services to preschool students, targeting expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language as well as articulation and fluency needs
• Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and evaluations for preschoolers and students in grades 6-12
• Collaborate with general education and special education staff to provide input for IEPs and intervention planning
• Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, evaluation reports, and all required documentation
• Offer consultation with teachers and families regarding students’ communication supports and progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as a speech-language expert
