Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Biddeford, ME. This position involves working across various hospital units, including ICU, ER, Nursery, and Med Surge floors, providing critical respiratory care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to adults. The role requires collaboration within resuscitation teams and delivering high-quality respiratory management in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Location: Biddeford, ME
• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Experience working in ICU, ER (including pediatric patients needing intubation and mechanical ventilation), Nursery (Level 1) with high-risk C-sections, and Med Surge floors. Familiarity with Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, Neo Puff, and EPIC documentation system.
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience.
• Additional Information: The ideal candidate will have sharp assessment skills, experience attending high-risk deliveries, and working with critically ill pediatric patients in the ER and NICU. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, good communication skills, and a respectful, positive attitude.
