Under the general direction of the Vice President and Chief Information Officer (VP & CIO) the Director of DoIT Business Operations serves as the principal budget, fiscal, and human resources officer for the Division of Information Technology. Under the general supervision of the Manager of Grounds and Landscape Services or his designee, assist, supervise and coordinate the activities of Grounds workers, Gardeners, Gardening Specialists and other technicians/specialists engaged in general grounds maintenance. Under the direction of the Director of the Bickerstaff Academic Center (BAC); and the Assistant Director of Academic Support the incumbent assists with providing academic support clerical assistance, clerical support for BAC programs, and general reception duties for the BAC. The Associate Director of Student-Athlete Services provides leadership and coordination for key enrollment, onboarding, and transitional support processes for NCAA Division I student-athletes. This role ensures alignment with university systems while centering the student‑athlete experience through strategic partnerships with campus units including Enrollment Services, the Bickerstaff Academic Center, Housing, Compliance, and International Education. Under the direction of Assistant Director, Budget & Facilities Manager and lead by the Assessment Analyst, the Administrative Support Assistant supports Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and Student Health Services (SHS) operational goals through administrative efforts. Under the direction of Associate Vice President of University Relations, the Director of Government Relations plays a crucial role in overseeing federal, state, community, and local governmental relations for the CSU Long Beach. The incumbent is responsible for campus‑based advocacy for CSU sponsored legislation and for the recruitment and training of key university support groups related to federal and state relations program and University priorities. The Graduate Admissions Evaluator is responsible for supporting the general operations of the admissions cycle, and dissemination of information related to admissions to prospective students, departments and colleges, and to the general public. Under the direction of the Survey & Statistical Consultant, this position provides support in the collection, organization, and preparation of data for statistical analysis and reporting. Under the direction of the Dean, serves as the Administrative Services Manager for the College of Business (COB). The Scholarship Technician performs a variety of complex and technical duties involved in providing the support needed to allow students to receive financial assistance. This includes the verification of eligibility for federal, state, and scholarship programs and the awarding of aid within these programs. The Technician also serves as a comprehensive point of contact in Financial Aid - providing accurate direction and guidance to students, their families and campus partners in all aspects of both general financial aid processes and scholarship specific processes, identifying those who need to meet with a financial aid counselor or administrator to resolve more complex issues. Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student‑centered and equity‑minded approach in all communication and service efforts. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for fiscal and HR processes for the Advanced Media Productions (AMP) department. Additionally, this role will assist COTA faculty with travel related information sharing, processing, purchases and reconciliation. The Senior Director of Development for the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) is responsible for securing major gifts of $25,000+ with a focus on gifts above $100,000 including principal gifts at $1 million+ in support of the university, with an emphasis on CHHS. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities Management and the immediate supervision of the Supervising Building Service Engineer, maintains, services, repairs, and inspects heating, ventilating, mechanical, and air conditioning systems, and the mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems associated with the decentralized utilities centers located throughout the campus and the Central Plant facility. The purpose of this position is to support all Network Engineering functions, including cables, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, tools, and other hardware. The Network Analyst is also responsible for monitoring day-to-day networks and systems and performs add/move/change requests on the Data Network, including VLAN changes, cross‑connects, and new switch deployments. Under the general direction of the LC Director, the incumbent serves as one of two professional staff dedicated to overseeing the effective implementation of the Supplemental Instruction program which supports students in low completion rate courses, and entering students identified as academically at risk.
