Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities As Restaurant General Manager, you will have full responsibility for restaurant performance, team development, and day-to-day operations, including:
- Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant management and hourly teams
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing employees
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence
- Manage labor, food costs, inventory, and controllable expenses
- Analyze financial and operational results and implement action plans
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and sanitation
- Create a positive, accountable restaurant culture
- Develop Assistant Managers and Kitchen Managers into future leaders
- Build strong relationships with guests and the local community

- Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Manager experience
- Proven success leading restaurant operations and developing teams
- Strong understanding of sales, labor, inventory, food cost, and profitability
- Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recruit, coach, motivate, and retain great people
- Hands-on leadership style with strong operational standards
