Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Department patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-level Emergency Department
• Demonstrated leadership or charge nurse experience on night shift
