Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Full laboratory license required. Associate-level license will not be accepted.
• Certified MLS through ASCP or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital laboratory environment as an MLT or MLS.
• MLS or MLT certification through ASCP.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Schedule: 7 on, 7 off.
• 10 hours per day.
• No on-call requirement.
• Every other weekend required.
• Role includes point-of-care testing responsibilities and clerical duties assigned in support of FSED operations.
