Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care travel assignment in Monterey, California. Start date July 20, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,322 to $2,385 per week with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5x8), in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This assignment includes float coverage to additional locations as needed during the contract.

Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and ongoing assessments for adults in the setting to address functional mobility, ADLs, strengthening,range of motion, and cognitive skills as indicated.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; perform therapy interventions and patient education to promote independence in daily activities.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, goals, and discharge planning in alignment with regulatory requirements and payer guidelines.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team (nursing, therapy, social work) to coordinate care and support safe, patient-centered outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust plans of care as needed, and communicate outcomes to patients, families, and the care team.
- Be available for float to additional locations as needed during the assignment.

Requirements
- OT degree from an accredited program
- Willingness to float to additional locations as needed during the assignment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment and adapt to acute care needs
