Key Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments and interviews with clients to establish their mental health status, identifying their needs and areas for therapeutic intervention. Develop personalized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, ensuring a customized approach to each client's unique situation. Regularly meet with clients, providing ongoing therapy sessions that equip them with practical tools and coping strategies for overcoming mental health challenges. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care, which may involve referrals for medication management or additional support services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), documenting all interactions and treatment plans efficiently. Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in mental health therapy, adapting your approach to incorporate new findings and methodologies. Patient Population / Client Focus The client base served by Uplifting Behavioral System LLC includes a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A valid state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role. Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods. Proven ability to deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions, using culturally responsive approaches. Effective crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor in high-stress situations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems and utilizing various computer applications relevant to the role. A commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and client confidentiality. Preferred Experience Experience working within outpatient settings or community health organizations. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and other specialized treatment modalities. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and comes with a potential sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
