Warehouse Receiving ClerkJoin Our Community of Food People!Basic Purpose: Check inbound product against receiving paperwork to insure that product matches order in quantity and pack size, and labels the product accordingly. Also ensure product condition meets acceptable government and company requirements. This helps maintain accurate inventory records and makes sure that the customer is receiving the correct, high quality product.This role may also receive overtime compensation.Work Schedule:Monday - Friday - 6am - 4pmSunday's if neededEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to insure correct pack/size, quantity, product quality and temperature, pallet ti/hi, etc.Check the temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures and comply with U.S. Foodservice's food safety and RRE requirements.Check the cleanliness of the trailers before they are unloaded.Verify quantity of each product to insure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation; report any variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system.Apply labels to all incoming product to identify that product in the warehouse for stocking, selection and inventory tracking.Complete required paperwork for daily receiving, as per U.S. Foodservice, USDA and SOX requirements; sign and date to authenticate products received are placed into inventory.Benefits: Benefits for this role may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.Relationships:Internal: Day Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Control Clerk, Procurement AssociatesExternal: Outside Drivers, Lumper servicesQualifications:Education/Training: High School Education or equivalent preferred.Related Experience: A minimum of 3 months previous warehousing experience required, previous comparable warehouse experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read & write legibly; basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); good verbal communication skills; basic computer skillsPhysical Requirements:Job requires worker to: Sit occasionally, Stand continuously, Walk frequently, Drive frequently: Pallet JackJob requires worker to lift: 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) Continuously, 10-20 lbs (Light) Occasionally, 25-50 lbs (Medium) Occasionally, 50-100 lbs (Heavy) Occasionally (up to 80 lbs.), Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) NeverJob requires worker to carry: 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) Continuously, 10-20 lbs (Light) Occasionally, 25-50 lbs (Medium) Occasionally, 50-100 lbs (Heavy) Never, Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) NeverJob requires worker to: Push/pull Continuously: Item: Boxes, pallet jack control arm, pallets, Climb/balance Occasionally: Item: In and out of pallet jack 9inch step, Stoop/squat Occasionally, Kneel/bend Occasionally, Bend Occasionally, Reach above shoulder Occasionally, Grasp objects Frequently: Type: Boxes, pallet jack controls, mouse, temperature gage, Manipulate objects Frequently: Type: Hand/Power Tools, Parts, Twisting Occasionally: Twists torso while driving the pallet jack to look for obstructions and/or other***EOE – Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/ Age/Genetic Information /Protected Veteran/Disability Status***
