Responsibilities Detailed knowledge of physical therapy, including what work is to be performed, how it is carried out, and why it is done, with responsibilities that include interpretation of clinical data. Basic computer skills and foundational understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific care setting. Evaluate and treat patients using a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders, while demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan. Oversee and ensure a comprehensive rehabilitation program that supports the patient’s physical, psychosocial, and immediate environmental well‑being and promotes patient and caregiver self‑determination by optimizing outside resources to achieve the highest level of independence. Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines involved in patient care and align efforts toward discharge goals established at the initial evaluation and throughout the episode of care. Serve as a patient advocate and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Physical Therapist: Less than one year experience in physical therapy. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate of Physical Therapy Preferred).
