Operations Supervisor

OMT-Veyhl is seeking an Operations Supervisor on 1st Shift to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll oversee production, team performance, and operational efficiency while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. You’ll be a key part of a company known for flawless execution, rapid turnaround, and innovative manufacturing solutions. As an Operations Supervisor, you will: Lead, coach, and develop a team of production and operations staff, fostering a high‑morale, collaborative, and safety‑focused environment. Oversee all aspects of operations, including production scheduling, process improvement, quality control, and resource planning. Implement continuous improvement initiatives using problem‑solving, process control, and Lean strategies. Collaborate across departments to support rapid prototyping, custom solutions, and efficient fulfillment for customers. Key Responsibilities: Oversee production of OMT-Veyhl and customer products, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery. Coach and train team members, resolving technical issues and implementing corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging problem‑solving, process controls, and team‑building strategies. Coordinate fixture manufacturing and manage material orders as needed. Manage team performance, including performance appraisals, progressive discipline, and resource planning. Foster a positive work environment with high morale and ethical standards. Qualifications & Skills: High School diploma required; technical school is a plus. 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operations environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and quality‑focused mindset. Ability to calculate formulas and measure solutions to spec. Excellent visual acuity and color vision to detect product defects. Highly organized, self‑motivated, and energetic. Strong communication, teamwork, and coaching skills. Computer literacy is helpful.
