You won't be limited to a traditional office setting. Our therapists provide services where clients are most comfortable and where support is needed most. POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY Our Clinical Therapist provides comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and prevention services to clients and their families. Our Clinical Therapist work with individuals and families throughout Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties, providing services in the home, schools, online, community, and office settings. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree, master’s degree or Ph.D. in clinical counseling or social work from an accredited university Licensed as a clinical counselor or social worker (LSW, LISW/LPC, LPCC) Excellent professional oral and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with diverse individuals, families, and team members. Effectively interpret and understand clients and identify a unique approach to treatment. Strong problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to address complex individual and family needs. Strong organizational skills and time management skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL Work Environment: This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. Occasional travel to community sites, partner organizations, and board meetings is required. Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands to operate office equipment, and communicate effectively in person and via electronic means. Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be required. Sensory Requirements: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Requires visual acuity to read and interpret documents, data, and computer screens. Schedule and Hours: This is a full-time, exempt position. This position is expected to work a standard work week, with occasional evening or weekend hours to attend meetings, events, or to respond to urgent organizational needs. Travel: The position requires local and regional travel to meetings, events, and partner sites. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary for conferences, training, or funder meetings.
