Salary: $116,480 - 158,080 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree.
• At least 11 years of experience managing and maintaining Red Hat Linux and VMware environments, including Red Hat Clustering, Resilient Storage, and High Availability.
• Experience upgrading and patching systems with Red Hat Satellite.
• Proficiency in creating, modifying, running, and automating scripts for system functions; Red Hat Ansible experience is a plus.
• Expert proficiency with Veeam Backup & Replication and experience with backup, recovery, and data protection; Dell EMC Avamar or similar legacy backup tools are a plus.
• Experience with HPE ProLiant BL Blade and DL Rack servers, c7000 and Synergy 12000 enclosures, storage provisioning, and SAN technologies; 3PAR/Alletra Storage Array administration is a plus.
• Experience with Red Hat ReaR/Kickstart tools, VMware appliances such as Site Recovery Manager and vRealize Operations Manager, and the HPE GreenLake Edge-to-Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Solid understanding of UNIX-related network services, including NFS, TCP/IP, DNS, and
• Technical support experience or knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, along with knowledge of IT security requirements.
• Familiarity with hybrid enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, automation tools, CI/CD processes, configuration, scripting languages, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is desired.

• Plan, implement, configure, patch, upgrade, tune, and maintain software and hardware across virtualized, highly available, and stand-alone environments.
• Document procedures and update standards for new or modified systems and environments.
• Provide technical support and manage assets in datacenter environments.
• Follow change-management policies and incident-resolution timelines; create and respond to change requests and work tickets.
• Review Red Hat and VMware security notifications and deploy updates when appropriate.
• Collect and assess performance and capacity data, and report key measurements.
• Identify potential issues proactively and recommend solutions to management before implementing changes.
• Reduce downtime, improve availability, monitor performance, manage disk capacity, and maintain system security.
• Design solutions to technical problems and implement new systems or infrastructure changes.
• Monitor critical systems and take corrective action to prevent failures.
• Support disaster recovery by ensuring backups are completed and tested with Veeam Backup & Replication, including managing Linux-based backup repositories and VMware proxies.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems; contact vendors for support and prioritize or escalate issues as needed.
• Establish and maintain security and integrity controls.
• Review current and emerging IT trends and develop short- and long-term roadmaps.
